We have been writing stories lately about are summer vacation. We have also been reading Black Lagoon books. Mrs. Corbell is teaching us about doubles in math. Math centers are fun! We’ve been researching our school facts. We made our school spirit t-shirts and hung them on the wall. It has been too smokey to go outside for recess, but today we are getting to go outside. Second grade is fun!

I hope that you all have a safe and wonderful summer vacation. Don’t forget to read, read, read! It would be really fun to keep a summer journal of your adventures. Our community library has a marvelous reading program on Wednesdays. I know that Alliyah and I will be at most of those. Also, don’t forget to play those fun math games on our blog. We are doing lots of fun stuff. We are doing symphony math and measuring water. We want to tell you thank you for checking on our blog. We finshed Eric Carle books. Now we are reading Easter books and Ready Freddy books and it is called, Going Batty. Mrs.Corbell is a sweet teacher!!!!!

We are doing the champs assembly this week on Friday.

We are learning fractions . Today we are doing a President’s Day poster contest. We are reading Charlotte’s Web. It is good so far. It is a sad book. We hope that you have a great weekend!

Today is the 100th day of school!!!!! We all read a 100 books,everyone in our class read 5 books. We read a 100 day poem and we drew how I look now and when I am 100 years old!!! We counted out 100 things then we made something!! We wrote 100 words!! I love school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
