Yesterday we went around the world. We went to Australia and we ate chocolate. It was yummy! Then Mrs. Corbell did Kenya and we learned that some kids don’t have toys so they make them out of wire or whatever they can find. Next we went to Germany. We learned that they put pickles on their tree and they hide them and when they wake up, they find them. Who ever finds the first pickle opens their present first. In Mexico, we colored a poinsettia. In Brazil, Mrs. Stagner put candy in our shoes and we drew names for secret pals to give an ornament to.

Today is pajama day. We are watching the Polar Express in our pajamas and then do a word search with words from the movie. On Friday is our Christmas party and we get out early.

At school we have been reading Jan Brett books but we have only read two. They are The Mitten and The Hat. The mitten and the hat were very, very good books. We have been doing graphing and questions about our graphing.

We did matter centers today. There is the blue goo, the legos and there is the play dough. You weigh play dough in a center and measure rice. I love going to White Oak. I had fun today in matter centers and I cannot wait till next week. We will probably be doing more centers. I love being in Mrs. Corbell’s class. We have lots of fun in Mrs. Corbell’s class room and there are 3 states of matter: solid,liquid and gas. There are 19 kids in Mrs. Corbell’s room but we still have fun. We have done lots of things in the room. I love having Mrs. Corbell as a teacher. White Oak is the best school ever!!!! Mrs. Corbell is the best teacher ever!!!! We all love Mrs. Corbell

We had a wonderful six weeks. We love our teacher. Mrs. Corbell’s class loves her like a mother. We did our bat reports today. It was fun!

Toady we have been reading some spooky, spectacular, frightening stories. The title is: Five Funny Frights.Our class is about to start writing spooky stories. We played our social studies game show. It’s a game were you guess and you have to use your brain.

Hi, we love the 2nd grade. We got a new student. Her name is Skylar.She loves White Oak a lot. Today is our 23rd day of school. I am playing with all my friends!!! We did a spelling test today.
We have been reading, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs! Me and Yazmin made a club and everyone is in.

Some of us have been reading chapter books. We are still working

and learning. Me and ANDREW have been playing all morning [Friday]. In a minute we are going to play Social Studies Game
Show. We have been in school for 14 days. We all have done a lot
of mountain math and target reading. We made a germ book. 2nd
